The Chinese Stars, Batwings, Mermaid - October 17th @ The Che Cafe

Our August 7th show @ Beauty Bar with Ihabial is no longer happening due to some miscommunications. It looks like we'll be playing there sometime soon anyways though. See you at the next one. (Or see you tonight at Epicentre!)

The Chinese Stars, Lipstick Terror, Batwings in Mexicali - October 18th

We have just confirmed our invitation to play with The Chinese Stars (Three One G/Skingraft) and our good friends Lipstick Terror (SourPop) in Mexicali, Mexico - Saturday, October 18th! More details will be announced later.

NXNP: North By North Park Music Festival

Batwings is playing the North By North Park Music Festival on Saturday, August 2nd. There will be music workshops and a music conference during the day at the Lafayette Hotel (2223 El Cajon Blvd). Then from 7:00PM to 1:30PM- there will be about 15 music showcases that will take place at Bar Pink Elephant, Kensington Club, U-31, Kadan, The Radio Room, Chaser's, Air Conditioned Lounge, LeStats, Planet Rooth Gallery, The Whistle Stop, The Office, The Rubber Rose, The Avalon, and Claire De Lune.

Some of the artists playing include: The Locust, Atoms, The Sess, Japanese Sunday, Thin Man, Wild Weekend, Shark Attack, Apes of Wrath, The Drowning Men, The Tighten Ups, Crocodiles, Scarlet Symphony, Laterns, Batwings, plus way more.

We will be playing at the Chaser's showcase which will feature Sayvinyl, Hotel St. George, OAKS, Batwings, Bunky, and the Viewmasters. If you want to see just one showcase, we've heard that you should be able to buy $5 tickets to specific venues. If you want to get into the whole festival, tickets will be $15 which will get you into any show and you can apparently ride around from venue to venue in provided shuttles. Great way to support over 100 local bands and artists from the San Diego region!
